This month, we are looking at ways to make this year your best year.  Giving attention to all aspects of your life will not only help you reach many of your goals but will also give you joy while you are pursuing them.  This week let's explore nurturing your relationships.

"Relationships are delicate and need to be nurtured with utmost love and care.  Be it with your family, friends, or lover. "---Anurag Prakash Ray

Relationships of all kinds need your continual attention and care to flourish and grow.  If your relationships have a strong foundation, they can weather the storms of life and remain with you for years.  Nurturing can be as simple as a hug, a smile, a phone call, or text.  You can give them your support when they need it and celebrate their victories.  Nurturing is letting people know how valuable they are to you.

Today's Coaching Challenge

If you knew that you might not see a friend or loved one again, what would you say to them to let them know how important they are to you?

Every day we hear of people passing way surrounded by their family and friends.  You can be sure that the family and friends were doing everything in their power to nurture and show love to that person.  What about the people that died suddenly, they left their homes and didn't return.  Did they know how important they were to the people that loved them?

Action to take

Plan to nurture everyone you live with daily through sharing quality time, actively listening to them, and sharing terms of endearment.  For the other special people in your life plan to reach out each day to one of them either in person, via phone, text, or email to let them know how much they matter.

Always supporting you,                                                                                                                                                                                                  Jan
