This month we are looking at change and whether you embrace it or resist it.  Let's face it, it is certainly easier when things flow pretty much as you expected, and you don't have a lot of challenges or major decisions to make.  However, life isn't set up that way and you are dealing with change every day.  This week I ask you how true is this statement for you?   I don't hold onto the "way things used to be" but instead move into "The way things are".

"Enjoy your life, these are the good old days that you're going to miss in the years ahead." --- Anon

When you think about the good old days a picture may come to mind of a couple of seniors sitting on a porch reminiscing about their youth.  What about the days prior to 9/11 when you could greet or say goodbye to loved ones at the gate?  Or more recently pre-COVID when only medical staff wore masks, and you could pretty much hug anybody (those good old days were just 2 1/2 years ago)?

Today's Coaching Challenge

What you have experienced in the past has helped to create who you are today.  Do you find yourself thinking more about how things used to be or celebrating how far you have come and where you are today?

Remember what you do today creates what will be your memories.

Action to take

What one thing could you do today that you would be proud of if you looked back on it even a few years from now?  Would it be creating a special time for your family or a friend, or starting a project for your business that you have been dreaming about?

Always supporting you,                                                                                                                                                                                                  Jan
